This project was for a grand design self-build home for a new customer who had seen some of our work in a friend’s house & been recommend by someone else too.  We were involved from quite an early stage so we could have some input on window & door positions which made a big difference to the final outcome.  The customer wanted a wow factor kitchen in the main open plan living area with some type of integrated seating rather than breakfast bar stools, they also wanted a fully working kitchen out the back that they could cook in & make a mess that the guests wouldn’t see.

We came up with a design for the main kitchen that incorporated a tic-tac shaped booth seating area which joined seamlessly into the island & to make it tie in even more we created a ceiling boxing that copied the shape & then we added some LED lighting to make a fantastic eye-catching feature.  These where both completely bespoke items that we created, they took some planning out but they were well worth it once they were complete & installed (the booth seating was actually delivered to site on the back of a vehicle recovery truck & it took 8 big strong lads to lift it in to place).

For the back kitchen, although it was more compact than the main kitchen we managed to fit everything you could possible need to prepare a meal fit for a king.  Once we had completed the main kitchen & the back kitchen the customer then asked us to design & install a laundry room, a walk-in wardrobe, two bedrooms, a home office, storage in a plant room, three bespoke media units & an outdoor BBQ area.

Items used in this job include, Fisher & Paykel appliances, Neff appliances, Grey & White Mirror Chip Quartz work surfaces, Crown Imperial Units, Blanco undermount sinks, Franke taps & Blum soft close hinges & drawer boxes.
